Most stores are open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00. On Saturdays they are only open during the morning, from 09:00 to 13:00, and on Sundays they are closed.
As for the shopping centers (in Funchal and Caniço), they are open every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Supermarkets are also open every day from 09:00 to 22:00.

We have a wide range of television channels at your disposal.

All areas of the region are currently connected to the public drinking water network. It is therefore relatively safe to drink tap water (bearing in mind that each organism is different and as such reacts differently).
We strongly advise against drinking water from the levadas (water channels for irrigating fields) when doing any walking along these channels.
