SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Rocamar Lido Resort S.A., has an internal emergency plan where it establishes the guidelines to ensure that potential foreseeable emergencies, associated with the activities developed therein, are identified, and dealt with. We recommend reading the safety instructions posted on the emergency plan located at the entrance to your flat or on the back of the door. If you have any questions or require special assistance, please contact Reception. We would still like you to take a few minutes of your time to read the following instructions:

ACCOMMODATION UNIT
  • Close your suitcases after use and put them in the wardrobe. If they have a lock, never forget to lock them
  • Notify the hotel management immediately of any occurrences such as: people wandering in the corridor; unknown people knocking at the door, etc
  • The Hotel cannot take responsibility for money, valuables or valuable objects left in the rooms; we recommend the rental of the safe
  • Never leave jewellery, money, or other valuables in sight in your room
  • Never invite strange people into your room
  • Do not allow people to enter your room with unsolicited packages
  • Always respect the information recommending "no smoking"
IN CASE OF FIRE or EVACUATION ALARM
  • If the evacuation alarm sounds continuously, follow these instructions:
  • Keep calm
  • If the corridor is clear of smoke, you may exit
  • Close doors to prevent fire spreading
  • Use the nearest emergency stairway, always descend against the wall
  • Do not try to fight the fire
  • In the presence of smoke, keep as close to the floor as possible
  • Leave the building quickly by the nearest emergency exit
  • Do not try to carry any luggage with you, your life is far more important
  • Do not use the lifts
  • Take your key with you
  • The Hotel Emergency and Evacuation Team personnel will direct you to a meeting point where you will be identified and registered for an absence check.
SAFETY STANDARDS - Whirlpool bath -Jacuzzi
  • If you are pregnant, do not use the spa without consulting your doctor during pregnancy. Immersion in the hot tub may cause harm to the foetus, so contact your doctor before entering the water.
  • Persons with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, or any other serious illness should not enter the hot tub without prior consultation with their physician.
  • People with skin infections, ear infections, genital infections, or other body infections, with open wounds, should not use the hot tub because of the strong possibility of spreading the infection
  • Parents are advised that the Hot Tub / Jacuzzi is not suitable for children under 16 years of age
  • The heat of the water accelerates the effects of alcohol and may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and loss of consciousness
  • Taking a shower before using the hot tub will rid the body of common skin bacteria and remove any lotions, deodorants, creams, etc. which reduce the effectiveness of products used for daily disinfection.
  • Remove all jewellery before using the hot tub, disinfectants can stain jewellery
  • Do not immerse your head in the hot tub.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
  • On Walks
  • Always be accompanied by an accredited guide.
  • Collect updated instructions of the route you are going to do.
  • Be sure of the time you will spend on the route, ensuring you complete it before nightfall.
  • Alert a hotel staff member or other person to the route you are going to take and your expected time of arrival.
  • Do not change the programmed route without warning.
  • Carry a light source and battery backup, e.g., torch
  • Be accompanied by a mobile phone; even if your operator's network is not available, the phone will search for another available network to call the emergency number 112.
  • If the route is interrupted by falling earth, stones, or other obstacles (heavy rain, strong winds) turn back using the same route, do not risk it.
  • Report what happened, the location of the accident, the number of people involved and the likely condition of the victims.
  • The efficiency of the emergency service depends on your information.
BATHING AREA (LIDO ROCAMAR)
Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Access to the sea at the Rocamar Hotel (subject to weather conditions), is free to guests, including free use of the pool, sun loungers and beach towels in the rooms.
  • You may be asked to present your hotel guest card by one of our staff members as identification as our guest.
  • We ask our guests to pay attention to the instructions given by our lifeguards.
